Media relations is at the heart of what we do, and it's one of the most sought-after services we offer. With clients spanning the globe, our media relations work is designed to elevate brands, individuals, and organisations by amplifying their stories across influential platforms. Whether it’s securing national press coverage, arranging interviews on popular podcasts, or gaining features in niche digital publications, our team understands how to position clients where it matters most.
We pride ourselves on managing the vital communication link between our clients and the media landscape. From traditional outlets like newspapers, magazines, television, and radio to digital-first channels including blogs, online publications, and podcasts, our strategic approach ensures our clients' voices are not only heard but remembered. Our work is more than just securing headlines—it’s about crafting lasting narratives that resonate with audiences and build trust over time.
At its core, media relations is a fundamental element of public relations and we take this responsibility seriously. By facilitating clear, compelling and consistent messaging, we help our clients build credibility in their industries and maintain strong, mutually beneficial relationships with journalists, editors, producers, and influencers. This, in turn, allows businesses to connect more authentically with their target audiences.
Our expertise lies in working with clients in the creative, consumer, and lifestyle sectors, where compelling stories and emotional connection are key. From book publishers launching their next bestseller, to food brands bringing innovative products to market, to tech entrepreneurs seeking to disrupt their industries—we’ve helped them all gain the visibility they deserve. What sets us apart is not just our ability to secure coverage, but our deep understanding of how to tailor each story for the right platform, at the right time.
We also bring a unique focus to our media relations work: a dedication to reaching Black British, African, and Caribbean diaspora audiences. This cultural insight and lived experience allow us to authentically position clients within communities that are often underrepresented in mainstream media. Whether it’s engaging Black-owned publications or identifying platforms that speak directly to diasporic audiences, we ensure our clients’ messages are inclusive, relevant, and impactful.

How we work: We actively develop story ideas and angles that are interesting to journalists, editors and produces and pitch these ideas to media outlets for potential coverage. If media outlets are interested in our clients stories we arrange and facilitate interviews between our clients and journalists/reporters. This process can take some time depending on the nature of the story so we ensure complete transparency with clients. We also organise media events on behalf of our clients from press launches and press conferences to media briefings, or influencer and journalist events to showcase important announcements and provide journalists with first-hand information and experiences surrounding our clients businesses. We also undertake media training and crisis communications for clients.

Media relations is powerful but the issue that many entrepreneurs and small business owners have is understanding how to achieve media coverage for their businesses and understanding how to harness the power of the media. In these strategy sessions we will discuss how to engage with the media, the best stories to approach the press with and how to gain media coverage for your business.
Press releases are still an important and useful part of gaining media attention and are the standard format for sending important news updates about your business and your brand to major media outlets and digital platforms.
A powerful and well-written press release will increase the chances of your business brand getting the exposure, publicity and media attention that it deserves.
This package includes a maximum of 2 Copy edits. This service can also be used to draft official announcements and statements.
A press release is still considered one of the most effective tools you can use to get media coverage for your business/brand. Media coverage raises awareness of your brand profile and the work of your business and encourages people to pay attention to your business. It is an important part of the PR mix and ensures that members of the public are kept in the loop about your business updates. In a social media age many have argued that press releases are dying a slow death but they are still relevant as long as they are written well. Ronke Lawal has written this eGuide for entrepreneurs and business owners who want to learn how to write your own press releases and pitch their business stories to journalists and the press.
